Along 320 meters of 'red carpet,' a new spot for celebrating Berlin's historic and recent role as one of the world's film capitals is celebrated by placing something that, only at first glance, resembles its Hollywood counterpart: working with natural and choreographed artificial light, I designed and engineered special 'cameras' that revive the stars, so that they appear to hover above their golden brass plates. Using a vintage film trick – the Pepper's Ghost Effect – analog Holograms are created so that visitors can even take a photo with their favorite stars – arm in arm.
